The Gold Standard builds on the same basic framework used for projects developed to comply with CDM and JI, incorporating additional “quality” elements. These include: the restriction of projects only to those that reduce society’s dependence on energy generated from fossil fuels (ie: renewable energy or demand side energy efficiency projects), application of a strict additionality test, the incorporation of environmental and social indicators to ensure the project contributes to sustainable development and ensuring broad local stakeholder engagement.
The Gold Standard specifically excludes forestry sequestration, large scale hydro power and energy from waste projects. Developed by WWF in conjunction with other leading environmental NGOs, governments, corporations and experts around the world, the Gold Standard is administered by the Gold Standard Foundation.

Refund Policy
1. Refund Request: You can request a refund for unused Products (such as unused Little Green Genie Credit) at any time, by submitting a support request to Customer Support at refunds@littlegreengenie.com. Refund requests carried out through other means shall not be eligible for a refund. No refunds shall be given for Products (including Little Green Genie Credit) that are not directly acquired online from Little Green Genie (e.g. vouchers or pre-paid cards are not refundable).
2. Upon a duly submitted refund request, Little Green Genie will refund you the credit balance of your Little Green Genie Credit.
3. All refunds shall be paid to the person who initially purchased the Little Green Genie Credit or Product, either through the original payment method used, or any other reasonable payment method to be determined by Little Green Genie in its sole discretion, or Your Little Green Genie Credit shall be adjusted accordingly.
4. Little Green Genie reserves the right to terminate these Terms of Service with immediate effect, automatically and without recourse to the courts, in the event of any abuse by You of these terms relating to refunds.
